  • VCS liaises with the merchant (regarding the procedures and pricing), the webmaster (regarding the ECT Bill and VCS interfacing) and the Acquiring Bank.

Acquiring bank merchant services

VCS is affiliated with ABSA, FNB South Africa, Standard Bank, Nedbank, ATM Solutions, State Bank of Mauritius, FNB Botswana and Nedbank Namibia.
The Acquirer will process the merchant application and allocate a ‘VCS’ merchant number.


The merchant must have his own web developer to implement and test the VCS integration.
Activation must be requested from VCS once the web developer has completed the testing phase. The testing phase is usually as long as the merchant requires.
